Chemical processes that occur during the roasting process increase the contents of sugars, caffeine, acids, and proteins. One can easily tell the difference between roasted and non-roasted coffee by simply smelling it as it is being prepared in kitchen. This aroma stimulates appetite.

Lastly, the process of roasting coffee should be done in a very careful manner to obtain maximum benefits from it. Appropriate conditions and equipment should be considered. It ensures that the process runs smoothly in long run.
