Learn How To Grow Your Blog

By Shirley Cox

Once you have your blog set up with a domain and you think that the audience are going to enjoy reading your content, you may be thinking that you can sit back and watch the page views escalating. However, unfortunately, it doesn't work like this. Learning how to grow your blog is essential, otherwise it will just be lost out there.

There are various of going ahead with this. It can depend on what type of blog you have because this will result in various techniques which one should branch out into. The first thing anyone needs to make sure of is whether they have a blog which is attractive and easy for the user to get around. If they can't find the thing that they are looking for, they will most probably click out.

It can depend on the blog, and where you market it. It also depends on what type of marketing you do. Some people decide to use Facebook, but find that this is not the correct option for them. Other people find that their website begins to grow as soon as they include videos.

However, when someone has a blog related to surfing, they will plan just the opposite. They won't want to write long articles, but would rather post videos where the audience can view various surfing videos. Facebook can be updated with videos as well. Articles are not suitable for this type of a target market.

To grow your blog faster, it can be a good idea to network with other blogs. A lot of people see this as competition. However, this is not true because you can do a lot for the growth of your blog by exchanging ideas with blog owners. You can post articles on blogs which are well known. At the bottom you will say who you are and where you can be found.

This is a great chance for you to increase the rankings in the Google search rankings. However, it is important that you plan your posts so that the keywords are well balanced. Keywords which are used too much will not favour Google, and those which are not used enough will not help you to get to the top of the rankings. Find out what people are talking about and what they are searching for.

Bloggers who are pushy, creating pop ups when a person logs onto the site will send their subscribers away. You can't force people to join your social media page or to sign up with them. However, you can subtly encourage someone to share. You can add sharing buttons with a slogan underneath the article.

You will think of posts to write which will be jotted down on the spreadsheet. Doing things at random is not a great way of planning your goals and it just leads to frustration. You will also be able to see what works and what you need to improve on or what you need to change.
