Generation Z, or "Gen Z," is the term that defines the group of people born from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s. This group is associated with youth, which means that, in theory, they can serve as some of the most viable leads. The challenge lies in the ability to reach out to them, which anyone that works in Long Island advertising will attest. Hopefully the following tips will help make this particular endeavor less painstaking.

One of the most important things to know about Generation Z marketing is that they are more likely to gravitate to certain types of content than others. For instance, instead of traditional TV, they'll probably watch Netflix or YouTube. The main similarity between these services is that they are digital, which tends to be the content that Gen Z customers enjoy most. You can target Gen Z customers more effectively by sticking to shorter, more concise messaging.
