Becoming one of the top-ranked results in a search is a difficult, but not unachievable task. Web pages must provide high-quality content, as well as follow basic optimization rules. This is a process that never stops - it is an always-changing process that requires constant vigilance in order to keep up.

There are two types of optimization - black hat and white hat.
