Long Island Advertising Agencies: The Do's & Don'ts Of Using Persicope

By Paula Hess

Anyone who is familiar with Periscope will know that it's the video streaming app that Twitter currently owns. There's no denying the fact that it has become quite popular among social media enthusiasts and Long Island advertising agencies. What you must know about Periscope, above all else, is that it must be used in certain ways. To better understand how this can be done, please make note of the following do's & don'ts.

DO incorporate the right titles. One of the many things that you should know about Persicope is that projects can be titled. You have to make sure that this is done well, since it will be the first step to bringing in viewers. Titles should be accurate, which goes without saying, but they must also grab people's attention without hesitation. This will take time to perfect, but authorities such as fishbat will tell you that it goes a long way.

DON'T overlook the giving of hearts. Facebook and Twitter have likes, but Periscope has hearts. Essentially, hearts are designed to let Periscope users know that people enjoy their content, which can build over the course of time. Even though it's a great to receive hearts, though, it's just as important to give them to others. By doing so, you become more involved in the social community that Periscope has to offer.

DO focus on your own interests. While it might go without saying, Periscope users are most success when they're discussing topics they're interested in. For example, if you're someone who loves video games, why not create streams at local and well-known conventions? This will show that you know what you're talking about, not to mention allow you to enjoy your work that much more. Any Long Island advertising agency will agree that interests matter.

DON'T overlook the importance of studying. Like with any social media platform, it's entirely possible to get better on Periscope. One of the best ways to do this is by studying the streams that others put out. Take it upon yourself to learn from other streamers, making note of the content they produce, the angles they use for their videos, and what have you. These are just a few ways that you can study Periscope, which means that you can use it to your benefit that much more.
